- Rub SHAZAY Original Mattifying Hair Paste between your palms.
- Work into towel-tried hair.
- Style hair as desired.
Expert tip
Blow drying after styling may lessen the matte effect. If you do blow dry, rub a very small amount between your palms again and then run your hands through your styled hair.

| Cera Alba | Beeswax – is used to produce mixtures of immiscible liquids by changing the interfacial tension. Beeswax makes the hair soft and smooth. |
| Cocos Nucifera Oil | Oil from the coconut palm (not palm oil!) – makes the hair soft, shiny and easier to comb. |
| Glyceryl Stearate | Emulsifying agent that forms close mixtures of immiscible liquids. |
| Isopropyl Palmitate | Ensures internal cohesion of the product and makes the hair smooth and soft. |
| Lanolin | Also known as wool fat – reduces electrostatic charges. Lanolin makes the hair soft, shiny, easier to comb and adds volume. |
| Stearic Acid | Facilitates emulsification, improves product stability and nourishes the scalp. |
| Cetearyl Alcohol | Fatty alcohol derived from the coconut. It functions as a stabilizer, has a foam-boosting effect and stabilizes the emulsion. |
| Candelilla Cera | Wax from the candelilla bush – makes the hair smooth and soft. |
| Copernicia Cerifera Cera | Wax from the carnauba palm – nourishes the hair and makes it smooth and silky soft. |
| Phenoxyethanol | Preservative that prevents the development of microorganisms in our Original Mattifying Hair Paste. |
| Parfum | Developed exclusively for SHAZAY, this perfume is contained in all products in this series. |
| Propylene Glycol | Functions as a solvent, binds moisture and makes the product more viscous. |
| Sodium Polyitaconate | A polymer derived from corn that binds metal ions to ensure the stability and quality of our products. |
| Caprylyl Glycol | Makes hair easier to comb, silky smooth, soft and shiny. |
| Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate | A surfactant that reduces interfacial tension and facilitates even distribution during use. |
| Aminomethyl Propanol | Regulates and stabilizes pH value. |
| Decylene Glycol | Keeps skin and hair in good condition. |
| Tetrasodium Iminodisuccinate | Binds metal ions to ensure the stability and quality of our products. |
| Xanthan Gum | Facilitates emulsification and improves product stability. Enables formation of a gel and serves to cleanse skin and hair. It also influences the viscosity of cosmetic products and keeps the skin in good condition. |
| Benzyl Salicylate | Protects our productions against damage from UV light. |
| Linalool | Essential oil derived from lavender that masks body odor. |
| Geraniol | Component found in geraniums or roses, fragrance – makes the hair pleasant to the touch. |
| Sodium Sulfate | Reduces the thickness of our products through swelling. |
| Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone | This violet aroma is a synthetic fragrance and conditioning agent that keeps the skin in good condition. |
| Limonene | Natural component of orange oil that aromatizes cosmetic products. |
| Disodium Phosphate | Masks the underlying odor of products and stabilizes the pH value. |
| Sodium Chloride | Common salt, reduces viscosity and masks the underlying aroma of the ingredients. |
| Potassium Phosphate | Protects our products from microbial spoilage and has a perfuming effect. |

Dermatologically tested: Excellent! Each of our products is independently dermatologically tested. We work on every SHAZAY product until our compositions yield optimum results. This also means that SHAZAY Enriching Care Shampoo is especially well suited for sensitive scalps.
No animal testing, no animal cruelty – cosmetics testing on animals has been banned in the EU since 2013. Unfortunately, this took much too long! No animals were ever subjected to testing or cruelty for SHAZAY. We research and produce our products exclusively in Germany. When it comes to selecting our suppliers we are very restrictive and make the same demands of them that we do of ourselves.
No silicones – silicone envelopes the hair in a thick protective mantle. This makes the hair smoother, and the silicone reflects the light, making the hair shine. The layer of silicone grows thicker and thicker with each use, preventing active ingredients from penetrating the hair and gradually making it heavy and lifeless over time.
No parabens – parabens are used as preservatives in cosmetic products. Thanks to our diamond filtered water, our products are free of bacteria, viruses and spores right from the start. Parabens are suspected of causing cancer and having a negative impact on the hormonal balance. Reason enough to avoid their use.
No microplastics – we try to avoid microplastics in all of our products in order not to place any additional stress on the environment. SHAZAY Enriching Care Shampoo contains no microplastics.
